FBS Firearms Training, LLC

This class is designed for someone who has the basic knowledge of how to shoot handgun but needs more indepth training. In this class we briefly go over what was taught in the Basic Handgun course and then we start focusing in more detail on proper shooting stance, pistol grip, eye dominance with sighting the pistol, and trigger control. We will shoot more rounds and shooting distances will be at  3, 7, and 10 yards. We will look at and discuss the different methods of carrying a concealed weapon, on body and off body. This class will be  3 to 4 hours long at an outdoor range, so please dress appropriately for the weather and wear closed toe shoes and a hat if you prefer. Please bring water or a beverage for yourself.

This class is for those who are comfortable with shooting but feel they need extra instructions on handeling their pistol. It could be that a person has issues with eye dominance, struggling with having the proper grip, how to properly aim there pistol on to the target, and or many other things. I also help individuals that are needing to qualify for an Armed Security License. I will go through the shooting process with them so that they can feel comfortable enough to pass the the shooting portion of the Armed Security G License.

This course will be for learning the Florida Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals with USCCA curriculum. It covers concealed carry, along with emphasis on Situational Awareness, Safety and the Legal Use of Force. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey. This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home or self-defense. Topics that will be covered in this class consist of, Self-Defense, Firarms Basics, Shooting Fundamentals, Gear and Gadgets, The Legal Use of Force, Violent Encounters and the Aftermath, Basic and Advansed Skills, Personal Safety, Handgun Safety, Handgun Fundamentals, Handgun Operation, Handgun Selections, and Physiological Reactions to Violent Encouters. As you can see this course covers a lot of good information and this course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety and nomenclature, and how it applies to home or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family's first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident. The class time for this course runs about 3 to 4 hours of in-class time and about 1 hour of range time. With this class you can schedule a time for me to come to your home for the information and presentation portion of the class and then you can meet me at the gun range to finish up with the shooting skills portion of the class, or we can do everything out at the gun range, if that works best for you. This class satifies Florida's requirements for applying for a Concealed Carry Lisense with the certificate that you receive.

With Florida residents being allowed to legally carry a concealed pistol starting July 1st, 2023,  I feel that it is important for them to take a class on the differences between the laws of Permitless / Constitutional Carry and a Concealed Carry Weapons License. You will learn that there are advantages to having a Florida Concealed License Permit verses not having one, when carrying a concealed weapon. In this class I will go over the basics of Florida's gun laws on carrying a concealed weapon, the four main gun safety rules, how to properly hold a pistol, aim a pistol, properly squeeze the trigger, then we will do live fire with shooting the pistol. I truly feel that all safe and responsible citizens should take it upon themselves to know the laws and how to properly operate and carry a concealed weapon, so that they don't  unitentionally hurt themselves or other people around them. 

I feel that once you take this course, You will be able to walk away better prepared to safely and legally defend yourself and your loved ones.

One-on-One class.  Up to 2 hours is $75.00.

Florida Constitutional Carry & Defensive Shooting Fundamentals. This is for individuals that aren't looking to get a  Concealed Carry License but need to feel comfortable carrying a concealed pistol and know the Florida laws on where and where they can not carry concealed. Also you will learn the importance of gun safety and how to properly load and unload a pistol, and then how to grip, aim, and safely shoot a pistol.  2 to 3 hours of training with live fire is, $65.00 per person if there are at least 2 people.

Private Lessons for Families or Single Parents:

These classes are for Families or single Parents that want to learn more about or refresh themselves on gun safety and Home Protection, while also working with their children on the importance of knowing gun safety and only handeling a firearm when a parent is present. I will talk about different options on how to safely lock and secure guns in the house but still be able to quickly retreive a gun in case of an emergency.
