I can truly say that I enjoy being a firearms Instructor and helping people learn a new skill that allows them to safely handle and shoot a pistol that they can then use for sport or for protection.

I have been shooting since I was 11 years old, and I have always enjoyed it. I served 3 years in the U.S. Army and was trained as a diesel mechanic at Fort Knox Kentucky and then spent 2 1/2 years in Manheim Germany working on M60A1 tanks.

My passion for wanting to teach others how to safely handle and shoot a firearm came a few years ago when a friend of mine encouraged me to take a Range Safety Officer (RSO) course out at the Volusia County Gun and Hunt Club and do range safety. Once I started that, friends and family would ask me for help in learning how to shoot and my wife was the one that said I should become an instructor after I taught her how to shoot. She said I had a very gentle and calming way of teaching people, and so I went on to get my certifications.

Instructor Certifications:

NRA: Basic Handgun & Chief Range Safety Officer.

USCCA: Concealed Carry & Home Defense Firearms Instructor.

Licensed Security Officer in the State of Florida, D & G Licenses.
